Hi everyone!
I hope you all are trying* to enjoy March although we are forced to be quarantined and self-isolating as much as possible. January flew by extremely fast for me this year – and the first week of February went at a complete opposite speed.
March is a whole different thing with this Corona Virus situation, and it’s pretty hectic with what is going on in the world right now. I hope everyone is staying safe and productive while staying home as the world needs to stop the spread of the virus.
Today I wanted to talk about some skin care products I’ve recently added to my daily regimen. The moment I have discovered these products and started to use them on a daily/weekly basis, my skin has drastically improved.
Rose Hip Oil

I wish I found out about the beauty of Rose hip oil during my teenage years. But, better late than never.
Rose hip oil benefits your skin in so many positive ways. The main benefit is how it keeps your skin moisturized at all times. All you need is one or two pumps, and you will instantly feel the oil melt into your skin. I’m sure you are thinking “Wouldn’t the oil make your skin greasy?” The answer is no. Rose hip oil contains the free fatty acids and linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is an essential component of ceramides; the skin’s main moisturizing element. If you struggle with acne scars and redness like I do, Rose hip oil is known to help with those issues. Vitamin C is packed into Rose hip oil as well as trans retinoic acid which is known to help reduce pigmentation.
I use Pura D’or Organic Rose Hip Oil 100% which is cold pressed. Like I said above, all you need is one or two pumps (depending how dry your skin is). You can find it easily on amazon, or click here.
Retinol

I’m not sure how long people have been hyping retinol up – but many of my friends have recently started using Retinol so I decided I should give it a try.
When I found out that retinol helps with scarring – that fact itself already sold me to the product. Retinol is essentially a form of vitamin A and a group of anti-aging combination used in skin care. It fights acne, reduces wrinkles, restore collagen, and promote brighter, healthier skin.
The one I use is from Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream. This one has more of a higher percentage of retinol compared to other creams, but I really like how soft my face feels after applying it for a night. For now, I only use it twice a week. Just a pea sized amount is enough! Too much is never good, for anything. I purchased mine through Sephora.

Current skin update — Skin is still adjusting to the retinol but already seeing positive results! My face looks a lot brighter than before. Makes me not want to wear makeup and to just let my skin glow more.
Thanks for reading guys, hope you guys try these products out! Again, let’s try our best to spread some positivity as the world is struggling right now, use this time to focus on your hobbies / things you’ve been putting aside and let’s use our time wisely.
Much love X
