Happy new year, bloomers!
I just wanted to start off by saying thank you to anyone that has been reading my blog since I started in 2018. This year I would like to focus on writing more about skin care, fashion trends, and most importantly; mental health awareness.
This year is more than just a ‘new year’, it’s a new decade! Which means it is important to start off the decade with a clear mind and short/long term goals. Let me give you tips on how to start off 2020 fresh and positive.
- Have specific intentions
It is key to write out intentions for the new year. Writing specific goals and having a timeline will keep them organized and easier to accomplish. For example, if you want to start exercising more, write how often and how long you would like to exercise each day/week. The more specific and detailed, the better!
- Spend time with loved ones
To start off the new year on a good note, being surrounded by positive energy and people you care about. Try to see as many loved ones this month so you can soak up all the love you need.
- Prioritize yourself!
At the end of the day, you and your mental health is the most important. Take yourself out to do what you truly enjoy this month. Making yourself feel good and having a healthy mindset about yourself will definitely help set the year on a good note.
Take the time to truly look back and see how far you have come from the past years. Reflecting and seeing what the next steps are will help make you grow and succeed in life.
