The Beauty Of Showing A Little Skin

Hi Everyone!

Now that we hit the middle of September, Los Angeles is starting to cool down. The sun is starting to hide a bit sooner since we are approaching that depressing daylight savings season, which means summer is slowly coming to an end. I wanted to talk about what my biggest accomplishment was this summer: Confidence. I learned that being confident really brings out the best in you – which is making the effort of being happy with your true self. I practiced by complimenting myself a few times a day, even small details of what I noticed about myself on a daily basis.

I have lost a lot of weight the past few months and I have been pretty upset about it because I lost my “healthy body” which was a plumped butt, and decent sized boobs. But instead of continuing to complain and be sad, I started to wear clothing to show off my petite body. Here are some of my favorite looks from this summer:

Bring Back The Low Rise Jeans

Top: Free People, Bottom: Vivienne Westwood Red Label, Belt: Hysteric Glamour, Shoes: Louis Vuitton, Bag: Prada, Sunglasses: Celine

One of my favorite looks this summer was my low rise jeans moment. The past few times I wore these Vivienne Westwood Red Label jeans were with a baggy shirt or a sweater. But on this particular day – it was extremely hot. I paired it with my cropped wife beater I found and showed off my hip bones. I wore a Hysteric Glamour belt, and Louis Vuitton wedges. It was a look I felt extremely confident in and very new for me.

Vintage LV Swimwear

Swimsuit: Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami (Marc Jacobs era)

I tried my best to spend as much time by the ocean or pool – but in style. I brought out my favorite Louis Vuitton two-piece swimsuit twice this summer, and I felt fashionably confident.

A Mini Kilt Moment

Top: Vivienne Westwood, Bottom: Vivienne Westwood / Worlds End, Shoes: Junya Watanabe, Bag: Chanel

The main focus on this outfit was my new Junya Watanabe cowboy boots. I wore the iconic Vivienne Westwood mini tartan kilt and the new Vivienne Westwood hebo top from FW 19′. I have never worn skirts as short as this, so it was a new look for me. But I really loved how good I felt in this outfit.

Now I still have not had the chance to wear these beautiful Jean Paul Gaultier pants, but I definitely got a good photo in them this summer. Since they are such a statement piece — I paired them with a simple cropped black top I thrifted a while back. With my petite waist, I was able to pull off a sexy fashion moment, confidently.

With all my looks this summer, I learned that dressing confidently and trying new looks will really bring out the best in you. Remember ladies, confidence is always key and always dress to make yourself feel good.

Keep on bloomin’ y’all. xx
