Bunny Glow – “Pretty Pink Clay Mask” Review

Recently I discovered this local skincare brand called “Bunny Glow” through instagram. I decided to try out their “Pretty Pink Clay Mask”. I love trying out new skincare products and supporting up and coming brands so I was super excited.

I received a skincare bundle which includes an applicator frosted tip brush, bunny ear headband, and of course the pretty pink clay mask. Super cute bundle! I never used a brush to apply a face mask before so that was exciting. The headband is adorable for selfies and helps push all your hair back so it won’t stick onto your face with the mask on (happens to me a lot)!

The mask went on extremely smooth, which I love. Some masks feel very rough on my skin so the smoothness was a plus. Did I mention that Bunny Glow specifically formulated the clay mask for individuals with sensitive skin? Which makes sense because the mask is not oily nor does it feel too strong for the skin (strong as in when there are chemicals or alcohol in the ingredients). The owner of this brand personally suffer from eczema and rosea and she said the natural clay mask has helped get rid of the redness or dryness. I was very happy to hear that because I suffer from acne redness as well as sensitive skin.

The drying process was really clean and interesting. It changed to a lighter shade of pink and faded a little and did not tug or tighten my skin at all which was a plus because sometimes it gets painful when you wash the mask off.

The removing process was very different than other face masks – You use a warm towel and gently rub the mask off. To me, the towel technique is not my favorite because I feel like it will irritate my skin. But when I dabbed the towel instead of rubbing – it didn’t hurt my skin as much. So if you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t rub the towel in, lightly dab your skin. It takes a bit longer but it’s worth it in the long run!
