Hey guys!

On Thursday I was invited to the Y-3 (Yohji Yamamoto’s adidas line) FW 18-19′ collection launch party. It was my first time going to the Y-3 store located on La Brea which opened in March.

The collection had some fun pieces – jumpsuits that look like dresses, turtle neck tops that had the Y-3 logo on the neck (reminded me of off-white) and great athletic pieces. Black and white are my go-to colors so I definitely will be picking up a few pieces from this collection soon.

The event was very well planned and had food and drinks. There was a food truck which are known for their “sushi burritos”. Sounds weird right? Looks weird as well. But it was SO good! You’d be surprised just by the appearance of it. This falls into the corny saying of  “never judge a book by its cover”. We also received gift bags! There were 3-4 different gifts that were given randomly, and I got a cap and tote bag.

I planned my outfit around the Rick Owens top (which I actually found out later that it’s a belt)! I wore a basic white t-shirt under it to make it look more casual than a cropped shoulder-less tank. Paired my favorite thrifted black trousers with my Louis Vuitton heels. Got a lot of compliments on the vintage heels. 🙂

It was overall a really fun night with friends and Y-3 threw a great event for their new collection. Excited to see what they are having next!
