Top 3 Summer Looks From My Closet – 2018

Hey everyone!

It’s finally starting to feel like summer in LA. FINALLY! It has been super weird having to wear warm clothes throughout May and the beginning of June.. but the sun finally decided it’s time to shine in So-Cal. So that means you can pack up all your long sleeve tops and jackets and bring out the fun summer looks you’ve been dying to wear. I chose 3 of my best summer looks for this year. Enjoy!

LOOK 1

Top: Rick Owens, Bottoms: Issey Miyake, Shoes: Urban Outfitters, Sunglasses: Vintage

LOOK 2

Top: Calypso St. Barth, Bottoms: Dressterior, Shoes: Vintage

LOOK 3

Top: Straws USA, Bottoms: Versace Jeans Couture, Shoes: Nike Air Max, Hat: Von Dutch, Necklace: Vivienne Westwood

Look 1 is probably my most favorite look because it gives out a strong summer vibe. The Issey Miyake “Pleats Please!” signature pants are perfect for the summer because they are very light weight and comfortable. The Rick Owens top is also light weight and brings more fun and attention to the whole look because of the funky shape.

Look 2 is more of a business/casual vibe. I would wear this if I were going to brunch with my girl friends, shopping at the Grove, dinner with a colleague.. basically I would wear it anytime I want to look professional and casual at the same time. The linen blouse from Calypso St. Barth is a great piece I own because I could wear it in many different looks by playing around with it. I could wear it open with a t-shirt under, tie it in a knot (like this look) and make it a crop blouse, and/or I could wear it all buttoned up and look very business like. It’s a summer staple!

Look 3 is a very casual/sporty fit. I usually like to dress like this when I know i’m going to be doing a lot of walking or gonna be out of the house all day. The sporty look trend has been pretty popular lately, and I love it because you can be comfortable yet fashionable! The Straws t-shirt is actually one of my faves – it’s simple and has a cool graphic design on it that basically matches everything I wear it with. The Versace pants is actually very stretchy and light-weight. I love the design and colors because it helps my outfit stand out. The Nike air max is actually a limited edition Japanese design that came out 2 years ago. The baby pink color blends in with the pants and some of the pink on the t-shirt. Although these shoes make my feet look extra tiny… they are still my go-to sneakers. The Von Dutch cap tops off my whole sporty look I was going for. It’s a classic black and white cap which is a must have in your cap collection!

Hope you guys enjoyed my top 3 summer looks! I’m usually more of a winter person but the winter in LA lasted way too long. So i’m really happy to finally step out of the house without a jacket on. Let’s see how long I last before I start saying “Winter come back!”, haha. Once I get an AC in my room I will definitely last the whole summer.

Thanks for reading y’all – till next time.
