FILM FROM TOKYO – WINTER 18’

Ever since my friend sold his film camera to me i’ve been obsessed! Film has recently been coming back in the photography scene and I thought I should hop on the bandwagon. Turns out I enjoy it very much and my camera is awesome! It is a 35mm Olympus camera, i’m not sure what year it is from but this camera kicks ass. Just a simple point-and-shoot and it does everything automatically. I used to think film cameras are difficult to use and you have to manually adjust lighting and things like that – but i’m so glad mine is very simple since i’m not too experienced with photography – yet!

If you read my last post, I went back home to Tokyo, Japan this past January. I took many photos with my film to test out the full potential of my camera (before the trip I barely used it). But since i’m an airhead ..(at times) – I ended up accidentally overlapping my film by re-using one of the film rolls that I already used up. Honestly… it came out fricken amazing! Let me know what you guys think.

All photos are taken by me and a portrait of myself is by my boyfriend, Jeremy. I honestly don’t know how all of it came out beautifully overlapped because it wasn’t planned at all. But very excited about the outcome knowing I didn’t waste my film 🙂

More film from Coachella 18′ coming soon!

Thanks for reading, y’all ♡
