After working 8 days in a row, I finally had a day off of work which was such a blessing. 8 consecutive days of work + being a fairly new dog mom is quite tough!

I met up with my good friend, Ikuko. It was actually her last day here in LA – she’s moving back to Tokyo to pursue in her modeling/acting career! So the whole day she chose where to go and I tagged along.

First – we ate! she wanted to go to Joan’s on Third which is a very popular restaurant. Most of their menu is salads and sandwiches made with great quality. I ordered the Prosciutto sandwich and I was so amazed with how good it was! My friend ordered the chicken salad and it came in a big bowl so it was definitely worth $14.

After brunch, we went to the Americana mall in Glendale, California. She’s been there many times but for me it was the first! I was surprised how much it looked like the Grove in Los Angeles. But what’s better about the Americana is that it has way more stores because its connected to an indoor mall! Basically the Westside Pavilion mall connected to the Grove. I bought some candles and lotion from Bath and Body Works (haven’t been to one since Hawai’i!) and a face mask from Sephora.

This Christian Dior long sleeve tee has been sitting in my closet for a while now so I thought i’d be a perfect day to wear it since it was a little chilly. The fabric is quite stretchy and it’s very comfortable. My favorite is the bedazzled “J’adore Dior”.

I paired my tee with my Vivienne Westwood Anglomania skinny jeans. I rolled them up to make them capri’s to make it flow together with my Alexander McQueen sneakers. Oh! Look at my adorable dog by the way! His name is Goma, he’s a maltipoo and he is 2 and a half months. 🙂

Since I was wearing a 2000’s era Dior tee, I thought I should pull off a denim-on-denim look. I wore my Vivienne Westwood Anglomania denim jacket. The color of the denim was very similar to the jeans so it worked out perfectly. Didn’t really keep me warm.. but what denim jacket does?

It was a fun day going to new places and I’m glad I got to hang out with my friend before she takes off. Oh, and you guys should follow my dogs instagram! He’s the cutest and sweetest – you won’t regret it. 🙂
